.NET DEVELOPER – Studio

We are hiring a .NET Developer who wants to help craft the world's most trusted translation software. With RWS Trados Studio we provide our customers with a complete translation environment for translation professionals who want to edit, review and manage translation projects. In this team, you will play an important role in our company’s success. Your contributions will make or break our goal to improve the lives of translators. As a developer, you’d be expected to:

 

• Design and develop high quality solutions in line with our department standards and strategy
• Pair with other developers and mentor junior developers
• Work with UX, QA, Architects and Product Owners using Agile methodologies

• Conduct spike investigations to research alternative technical approaches.

• Proactively communicate, share and influence other teams with advances in technical capabilities, with ultimate goal being customer satisfaction.
• Build and deliver reusable components and microservices for both cloud and on-premise models
• Our stack includes C#, Web API, ASP.NET Core and full framework, MongoDB, Redis, SignalR, RabbitMQ, WinForms, WPF, Git and DevAzure.

About the team

 

The team behind is spread across multiple countries. Most of our development team is located in Cluj-Napoca, but we also have team members working from countries such as England, Germany or Netherlands. If you join our team, you will enjoy a multicultural experience, so expect to use tools like Microsoft Teams quite a lot to communicate with your remote colleagues.

Our team’s experience varies from senior team members who have been working on these projects for more than 20 years, to new colleagues that have just joined our team. We are quite a diverse team in terms of experience and knowledge, so we welcome skilled people that have a proactive mindset oriented towards collaboration, good development practices, and customer satisfaction.

Core skills

• Excellent understanding of C# and OOP design patterns
• Experience in building C#/.NET components and services, with focus on micro-services integrations, reusability, scalability, data integrations;
• Practical experience with consuming and developing RESTful services and APIs;
• Practical experience with NoSQL and distributed caching (Redis);
• Practical experience with TDD (writing unit and integration tests)
• Good understanding of agile development practices

Nice to have

• Experience in building desktop applications using Microsoft technologies
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design
• Experience with Continuous Delivery pipeline.
