Eaton is seeking a Senior National Account Manager for our Retail Sales Segment in the Commercial & Residential Distribution Solutions (CRDS) Division. This position can be based out of Charlotte, NC or Peachtree City, GA. Position Overview: The Senior National Account Manager will provide commercial and sales leadership for the CRDS business to achieve targeted sales growth and profitability with our Retail channel partner Lowe’s. Development and execution of appropriate strategies through a clear understanding of market dynamics and leading a highly engaged 3-person team that calls on Lowe’s. This position is responsible for interfacing with Lowe’s merchant & business support teams, as well as internal Eaton teams including product line, operational support, AP/finance, and marketing to execute sales and merchandising activities that exceed growth and profitability targets. Essential Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high quality relationships within Lowe’s. Create and execute profitable sales strategy at Lowe’s, focused on topline growth and balance of share. Develop promotional plans for In-Store and Online with Merchandising team. Track In-Store and Online performance of assigned product line(s) against financial/volume objectives and required performance levels for Lowe’s. Lead and prepare Lowe’s Product Line Reviews. Work collaboratively with Lowe’s on product development (where applicable). Develop presentations, both internal and customer focused, that communicate our ideas and positions in a clear and persuasive manner. Identify new business opportunities and work with marketing to capture these opportunities. Alert management to competitive and market intelligence that could assist in the development of winning business strategies. Add value to customers through insights, new ideas as well as the timely rollout of programs and daily management of programs. Actively promote and position Eaton as the category manager for our product lines. Respond quickly and efficiently to requests from buyers and other stakeholders internally and externally for information and assistance. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required Minimum 7 years’ account management experience with big box retailers in the home improvement industry Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must reside within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC or Peachtree City, GA. Preferred qualifications: MBA from an accredited institution is required Position Criteria: Good understanding of retail consumer goods and the workings of Big Box/DIY retailers Experience dealing with big box customers at senior buyer levels Strong selling and analytical skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems Ability to comfortably interact with and engage with diverse groups of people Excellent attention to detail Superior planning and project management skills Ability to travel 10-25% of the calendar year Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
