Job Description

•  Be part of the Global Network Engineering team to lead/manage Global and Regional IT projects.
•  Provide support to complex office/manufacturing LAN/WAN/VPN and wireless infrastructure.
•  Troubleshoot network routing protocol issues (BGP, OSPF and EIGRP), and familiar with various WAN technologies.
•  Provide technical leadership during major network outages and respond to escalations from Network Operations team. 
•  Manage/Implement changes to hardware and/or software that improve network performance, speed and connectivity.
•  Partner with Security or Cyber Defense team to fix detected vulnerabilities with systems and users to maintain high security standard.
•  Interact with vendors, service providers, and business units for integration of services and systems.
•  Incorporate company standards and preferred practices into local site network builds.
•  Collaborate with other global IT functional teams as needed.

Qualifications

•  Minimum 6 – 8 years experience working with Cisco technologies, Set up and/or operations.
•  Candidate should have a desire to gain technical skills through advanced certifications (Eg. CCNP/CCIE) or other similar achievements.
•  Understanding of network design practices from small office to large campus.
•  Understanding of cloud services and efficient optimization on a global network.
•  Comprehension of networking concepts including network design principles, data flow determination, routing, switching, VLANs, IP addressing, spanning-tree, etc.
•  Good understanding of network utility services including TFTP, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SYSLOG, etc.
•  Solid understanding of advanced networking technologies and solutions including BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, load balancing, VPNs, WAN Optimization, etc.
•  Good understanding of advanced data center networking technologies and solutions including Nexus 7000 series data center switches, Ruckus/Brocade/Arista switches, load balancers, ASR/ISR WAN routers, collocation facility integration, DR integration, etc.
•  Network Security/Firewall Experience a plus.
•  Wireless Experience a plus.
