Job Duties:

• To provide technical support on WAN/LAN environment with specific focus on Metro-Ethernet network, core routers, network switches, firewall appliances and load balancers;
• To liaise with users and vendors for requirement study, implementation and on-going support activities;
• To participate in technical specification development and proposal evaluation for new projects / enhancements;
• To prepare test plan and conduct acceptance test;
• To install security patches and upgrade on various hardware platforms and software applications;
• To perform administration tasks and backup job related to various network and server platforms;
• To update technical documents and prepare operation manual; and
• To perform on-call support and other duties as required, and work outside normal working hours if necessary.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Computer Studies or IT related discipline
• At least 4-6 years or above relevant experience in IT
• At least 3 years of experience in network infrastructure support/ administration and configuration,
• preferably on Cisco / Juniper equipment in the WAN/LAN environment;
• Sound knowledge in OSPF routing adopted in WAN/LAN environment;
• Hands on experience in firewall products, such as Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls;
• Experience in Open Shortest Path First
• Independent, proactive and able to work under pressure;
• Strong communication skills; and
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
