Responsibilities: Drive strategy, architecture patterns and templates for data architecture for engineering applications using NoSQL and polyglot persistence Define standards for integration, data transformation, databases, data warehouses and data lakes in context of engineering data Drive new data driven capabilities in portfolio based on engineering data around business intelligence and analytics Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 5+ years of architecting data driven solution for enterprise applications based on data virtualization, data warehouses and/or data lakes Experience architecting applications using polyglot persistence Knowledge and experience solution using data integration, business intelligence, API management and IPaaS technologies Knowledge and experience with Document stores, key-value, columnar and graph databases Experience with microservices and domain-driven architecture Experience developing graph APIs Experience architecting security across multiple databases Experience with big data Excellent communication and persuasion skills Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: Experience working with enterprise, engineering and PLM Applications Experience architecting for multiple cloud provider Experience with distributed and managed databases Experience developing commercial software products Experience with transforming or evolving enterprise desktop solutions to cloud solutions Experience with developing data warehouses and data lakes Experience with developing search applications At Siemens we are always challenging ourselves to build a better future.
