Objectives:

Tax Operations is the primary contact for tax authorities on our side and the goal is to ensure efficient and effective handling of indirect taxes (e.g. VAT and etc.) operation in compliance with prevailing PRC tax laws and regulations in a sustainable manner.
  • Manage daily tax compliance tasks for responsible legal entities according to the tax regulation and company policy with professional technical competency independently
  • Support and coordinate in developing specific sustainable, simplified and efficient tax operational processes in a timely manner
  • Deliver value-adding tax advice to specific business operation independently
  • Participate and provide high-quality and timely support to ad-hoc projects under the guidance of supervisor
  • Maintain transparent and trusting relationship with tax authorities and related government authorities
  • Main Tasks:
  • Prepare and accomplish tax filings and applications (including export VAT refund) of responsible SH entities to ensure accurate and timely submission as required by tax regulation and tax authority
  • Coordinate with Treasury to ensure tax payment and tax refund to be processed and settled within required timeline of responsible SH entities
  • Provide tax data input to tax accounting posting and reporting (including VAT account reconciliation) of responsible SH entities and subsequent monitoring
  • Prepare and accomplish tax registration, filing and application for non-trade FX payment of responsible SH entities
  • Review and monitor relevant tax filings and tax applications prepared by Local Finance of responsible remote sites to ensure accurate and timely submission as required by tax regulation and tax authority
  • Sort out various VAT vouchers (including but not limited to import and domestic purchases) and perform input VAT verification of responsible legal entities
  • Archive original tax documents and vouchers according to the tax regulation and internal policy guideline
  • Apply for "Information form for issuance of red special VAT invoice" for specific transactions
  • Manage specific inquiry, inspection and audit in relation to deduction of tax vouchers initiated by tax authority
  • Provide tailor made tax advice and value-adding guidance to specific Business/Functional units' operations within specific timeline independently with close and good collaboration with other stakeholders
  • Contribute and provide high-quality and timely support to various ad-hoc projects
  • Assist supervisor in establishing, optimizing and developing operational processes to drive efficiency and excellence on timely basis in line with business needs or exploring and analyzing specific new tax regulation reform
  • Perform efficient and effective communication with tax authorities and maintain transparent and trusting relationship with tax authorities and related government authorities
  • Support specific tax matters (e.g. tax audit or inquiry) and implementation of tax planning initiatives in cooperation with Tax Department
  • Participate and support in the development of trainings as well as knowledge sharing to internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Accomplish other tasks/projects as assigned by the supervisor within agreed timeline and provide timely report to the supervisor or other related stakeholders
  • Remark: Depending on team and business needs, detailed main tasks could be possibly changed/expanded accordingly and assigned by the supervisor on a timely basis.
  • Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor degree or above from university, majoring in finance, accounting and taxation related
  • Certificate: CPA, CTA preferred
  • Working Experience: Over 3 years' working experience with at least 2 years' tax experience in multinational manufacturing company
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of PRC accounting, tax operation and practice as well as ERP system
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated
  • Good logical analysis, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
  • Proficient MS Office skills for Excel, Word and PowerPoint
