Job Description & Responsibilities:

The HR Operations Senior Officer assists the HR Operations Leader with operational activities to support the daily management and success of the HR function and its people. The HR Operations Senior Officer supports the HR Operations Leader across all aspects of managing the HR function including performance management, people engagement, development, and coordinating HR stakeholders across the function.


The HR Operations Senior Officer will:

  • Collect and manage information pertaining to HR headcount: new joiners, leavers, and movements;
  • Support the HR Operations Leader with the management of job descriptions, replacement hiring, hiring agency management, HR mobility, and overall HR movements;
  • Partner with the HR Operations Leaders and on multi-stakeholder, cross-functional, complex projects - see-through and deliver upon the full project lifecycle;
  • Facilitate the adoption of the various improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes to improve the overall employee and manager experience;
  • Provide support to the HR Finance in managing and updating the HR Budget including quarterly analysis reports, monitoring HR spend, and the annual budgeting process;
  • Provide national logistics and administrative support when needed.

Reports to and works with the HR for HR leader

Partners within the function to the HR4HR leader, Market HR Leaders, and HC Director Key member of the Human Capital with accountability to the overall HR function

Maintains strong relationships with key HC stakeholders across China and Hong Kong to ensure consistent alignment and execution of projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or higher;
  • At least five years of relevant work experience, preferably in professional services or multi-national environment;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under deadlines while maintaining quality of work delivered;
  • Ability to communicate with impact to peer groups as well as influence and collaborate with leaders, executives, and other stakeholders;
  • Experience in a matrix corporate environment is highly preferred;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and research, analytical, and troubleshooting skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Experience with using Lotus Notes is desirable;
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese), fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
