Job Description
This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 1 year with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project manager to oversee and support of the Cable Management System (CMS) for cable discovery and project implementation
- Coordinate with all relevant internal & external parties to support project delivery on time, and ensure the daily IT cabling services and cable provisions keep going
- Coordinate among contractors and internal parties for the survey and inspection of ducts and trunk routes for information capture by Cable Management System (CMS)
- Coordinate system rollout and perform system verification test
- Review, supplement and verify project deliverable & data submissions daily from cable discovery
- Verify the data integrity on new CMS after data entry by cable discovery contractor
- Coordinate current IT colleagues and contractors for the concurrent cable inventory input for day to day cable request during project windows
Requirements:
- University degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or other related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in structure cabling and networking.
- Certificated holders of CCNA will be an advantage
- Familiar with Computer-aided design and drafting (CAD/CADD) technology will be an advantage
- Solid knowledge and experience in structure cabling, which covers all types of Internal and external cables
- Good troubleshooting skill and ability to quickly learn and work with new system and infrastructure
- Valid Hong Kong driving license would get an advantage
- Site work experience at HKIA is preferred
- Flexibility in night work is preferred as site Inspection and survey works might carry out at night time
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
