The appointee will report to the Head (Sports Development) with primary responsibilities in the provision of instruction and administrative support in services relating to sports and physical education for students. Duties include: delivering the Healthy Lifestyle Course (https://sao.ust.hk/HLTH1010/) as well as fitness, sports skills, personal enrichment and wellness classes for students; organizing student development programs including sports, personal enrichment and wellness events; serving as advisor to student clubs in developing extra-curricular interests in sports; coaching sports teams and provide support to student athletes, assist in sports facilities management and other relevant duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a degree in physical education, sports or related studies and at least 3 years of post-qualification working experience in teaching, coaching and/or organizing sports activitiesin a university or education setting. Applicants should have strong interpersonal and communication skills with good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua; be outgoing with a positive attitude; and be able to deal effectively with people at different levels with diverse background. The appointee is expected to have the ability to work independently and be an energetic, responsive and good team-player with keen interest in working with students. He/She will be required to work outside normal office hours. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
