Title: Senior Online Logistics Specialist

Function: Logistics         

Reports to:  Online Distribution Center Manager

Direct Reports: None

Overall Job Function: Provide management oversight and direction to Logistics Specialists and 3PL to ensure daily operational priorities are established, and collaborate with the 3PL provider regarding the optimal way to run their operations while meeting the H&M requirements. Ensures the system is maintained and monitored and educates end users in the H&M system functionality, ensures new system releases are fully understood and utilized from the user perspective correctly.

Job Responsibility including but not limited to:

• Together with the DC Manager, sets, communicates, and follows up on logistic goals and KPI´s with the objective to achieve great customer service, profitability and results.
• Maintains oversight of the daily operations to ensure compliance with performance expectations and recognize areas of concern that need attention.
• Follows up with H&M Specialists and 3PL on any service-related issues and develops and manages process for problem resolution.
• Supports the DC Manager in the development of Online Logistics Specialists
• Provides leadership and direction to Logistics Specialists in DC Managers absence, and as needed.
• Makes business decisions in providing workload prioritization to 3PL.
• Space management; plan and follow up on capacity together with the DC Management Team.                                                                                                       
• Quality Controls volume forecasting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of forecast and manages information flow with 3PL to ensure proper volume data is communicated.
• Recommends, initiates, and manages operational change to drive performance improvement.
• Provides daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and trend analysis
• Performs root cause analysis on operation and transportation issues, develops and implement plan to solve.
• Helps manage projects and operational implementations.

Financial Accountability:

• Participates in cost controls and can authorize 3PL operations expenses, including labor
• Invoice reviewer and approver authorization

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management
• 2+ years of equivalent experience in Distribution or Logistics operations

• Effective project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects as needed
• Ability to prioritize operations activities and communicate priorities to 3PL provider
• Ability to provide leadership and direction to H&M DC team
• Skilled with Microsoft office
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
• Ability to present analytical data and communicate effectively in a professional setting
• Ability to grow into roles with greater responsibility
• Good organization and time management skills
• Takes own initiative by seeking proactive solutions to problems
• Ability to think independently, solve problems, recommend solutions, propose new procedure
• General warehousing system user knowledge
