We're looking for a Operational Risk Officer to:

• collaborate with other support functions to provide challenge to the First Line of Defense’s risk-taking, mitigating, and remediation efforts (i.e. risk and control assessments, operational risk issues and events)
• evaluate the control framework for new and changing business initiatives and providing consultation and/or challenge as necessary
• challenge the governance and controls associated with the integration of Capital Markets Sales and Trading into the Ivestment Bank
• evaluate the operational risk profile and risk analysis for the business, culminating in weekly, monthly and quarterly Divisional Operational Risk Reporting.
• work across the multiple dimensions of the Operational Risk Framework and understanding how it impacts the Group Treasury and Capital Markets businesses.
• influence 1st Line of Defense on identification, management and mitigation of operational risks
• as needed, developing ad-hoc analysis, thematic reviews, control testing, and driving specific risk initiatives.
• delivering and updating Operational Risk Training.

Operational Risk Officers review and challenge multiple dimensions of first line risk-taking activities. As a member of the IB ORC team you will be primarily responsible for identifying and challenging operational risks related to Global Asset Liabilities Management (GALM) as well as supporting the ongoing integration of Capital Markets (CM) Americas sales and trading activities from the Global Wealth Management (GWM) Americas Division into the IB.
