Eaton’s Global Financial Services and Systems North America team is currently seeking Senior Payroll Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Position Overview: The North America Payroll Analyst is responsible for executing and ensuring flawless execution of Payroll Processes in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. The Payroll Anaylst will execute Payroll Processing activities; participate in the preparation, maintenance, processing analysis to include auditing of manual and automated payroll data, information, records and reports; Analyze and resolve Employee Pay issues through collaboration and with excellent customer service skills. This role will also focus on continuous improvement and automation / digitization in the North America payroll process area by becoming the team's Microsoft office 365 expert. In this function you will: Process Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Semi-Monthly non-exempt and exempt payrolls for union and non-union sites within multiple EINs. Understand, support, and troubleshoot interfaces into and out of the U.S. payroll system. Perform ADP (Canada payroll & US Tax) system administration. Analyze and balance payrolls before and after they have been processed. Analyzing reports and preventing items that impact timely and accurate payroll. Participate in complex payroll support functions; calculating, reviewing, verifying and posting a variety of complex payroll data such as gross pay, retirement, retroactive payments, hours, tax information and leave. Research, analyze, and resolve payroll related problems or questions by collecting data from divisions, previous payroll cycles and multiple system functions. Keep informed of Federal and State laws, payroll regulations, and interpretations pertaining to payroll to deliver timely and accurate payroll. Validate the successful transmission of bank files at the end of each processing and troubleshooting any challenges to the receipt of the bank files. Prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic/special reports for government agencies, tax authorities, insurance companies, industry associations and other units of Eaton Corp as required. Maintain confidentiality by keeping payroll records confidential and adhering to data privacy policies. Provide customer service through varies methods including, phone, email and our Service Now case management system. Coordinate with assigned payroll sites to ensure payroll files are submitted by required processing deadlines. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited institution Minimum 3 years of multi-State payroll experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools Knowledge of multiple payroll systems such as UKG UltiPro payroll and ADP Balancing payrolls Position Criteria: Strong mathematical, analytical, and technical skills. Strong written and verbal skills Ability to multi-task, and work under tight deadlines with flexibility.
