How your role will add to the story:
We’re looking for a Senior Penetration Tester to join our Global Cyber Security team. This team is responsible for performing penetration tests in unique, complex and challenging environment, requiring quick turnaround and a high degree of skill and sophistication. A day in the life:
- Lead engagements from kickoff with application owners through scoping engagements, penetration testing, "clean-up", and reporting while adhering to the agreed scope and deadlines.
- Perform thorough penetration testing that includes the identification, verification and exploitation of vulnerabilities as well as subsequent privilege escalation (post exploitation) in order to assess the risk arising from the vulnerabilities.
- Identify, prove, and report vulnerabilities that cannot be identified by scanners or tools.
- Review and identify false positives generated by scanners or tools.
- Deliver and present clear and coherent reporting and provide remediation guidance to the stakeholders.
- Contribute to the review of internal processes, services and tools and assist in identifying, aligning, and implementing improvements. Mentor less experienced staff.
- Adhere to internal policies and procedures, technology control standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Stay up to date on the latest exploits and security trends.
