The opportunity:

AIA’s People and Culture are looking for a Senior People Advisor who will lead the allocation of workflow, cases, and tasks across Tier 1 (advice and consultancy) and HR Services as part of the implementation of best practice human resources service delivery model. Additionally, you will be responsible for the day to day overall coordination of HR queries and in-progress transactions and for these to be resolved or escalated as needed.

Ideally, you’d have Workday experience and could put your knowledge to work in our implementation of Tier 0 for our People Advisory team. You’d play a critical role in building and expanding the knowledge articles and resources available to provide a seamless employee experience.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Ensure our people leaders are provided with a consistent, timely and professional service as part of their day to day activities including coaching and consultancy where needed

  • Contribute to the shaping and implementation of the service delivery model

  • Build and improve on the quality of the knowledge base articles

  • Take ownership and resolution of colleague and line manager case escalations

  • Own the accuracy of data, contracts/letters, advice and reports being provided across AIA Australia

Successful applications will have:

  • Preferable previous experience with Workday or similar system

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or similar  

  • Previous experience in a similar role in HR service delivery

  • Outstanding communication skills, including effective influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to establish strong, credible working relationships quickly.  Lead by example

  • Demonstrated case management experience in a self-service environment

  • Understanding of a service delivery model
