Senior People & Organization (P&O) Partner – Smart Infrastructure People are our most important asset, and we rely on our employees to invent, design, code, make, assemble, install and service the products, system and solutions advancing US infrastructure across many market segments. To support us on our exciting journey, we are looking for a Senior P&O Partner to lead the SI US People & Organization team. The Sr. Partner is a core member of the SI US executive leadership team, serves as trusted advisor to other senior leaders and influences or drives a variety of important people related topics. This position leads the US SI P&O organization, is a member of the U.S P&O Leadership team and reports to the US P&O Head. There will be 25% travel associated with the role. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to think strategically, execute tactically and collaborate effectively across teams, organizational levels, in a variety of scenarios and situations. He/she must be able to understand business priorities and translate them into high impact programs. He/she will support the SI US Senior management proactively with fact-based, data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience. This position plays a key role in crafting and facilitating changes to organizational design, culture, and engagement. Responsibilities: Understand the entire talent system at each stage of the employee lifecycle and apply this understanding to craft and implement integrated solutions that effectively drive and support business performance through deep insight, an independent viewpoint, and strong human resource expertise. Develop and implement advanced working planning processes to identify near term and longer-term skill requirements. Work collaboratively in designing up/re-skilling initiatives that enhance the internal and external talent pipelines. Drive and advance strategic P&O topics like employee engagement, talent development & management, DE&I (diversity, equity & inclusion) and/or workforce development in close collaboration with the SI US leadership team. Provide strategic input to influence and shape the overall US P&O priorities. Coach and enable executives to be more effective leaders. Partner with leadership teams at relevant levels to drive performance and build organizational capability. Lead, develop and inspire the US SI P&O organization. Champion and role model trusted advisor behaviors. Identify needs for change management and champion related activities. Drive discussions related to cultural, workforce, and organization design changes and provide recommendations to business leaders. Enable the SI US businesses to develop a diverse, robust multi-level talent pipeline with a focus on diversity and effective success planning. Champions across SI and in collaboration with US P&O, strategies to enhance and strengthen our Gender Equity Program and outcomes. Leverage a variety of people analytics to provide insights and recommendations regarding opportunities to strengthen the organization, specific teams and for leader coaching. Understand business goals and design/implement new approaches, policies and procedures to drive continued improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of P&O within the company. Oversee or participate in Labor Relations topics, including negotiations, as assigned and required. Keep an overall pulse of the organization when it comes to climate and culture. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: Excellent consulting, interpersonal and coaching skills Team and individual leadership and development Strategic and critical thinking Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to use data and information to make recommendations which effectively resolve problems or issues Bias towards action, strong work ethic and desire to achieve excellence Demonstrated ability to structure and drive complex programs in multi-stakeholder environments Prior experience working in a manufacturing and technical services environment is a plus Prior experience working in a matrixed environment a plus Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Organizational Development a plus Demonstrated capability to lead large, diverse HR organizations in the industrial solutions and / or technology industries.
