Redpath Partners are searching for a Senior Planning Manager to work in-house for a global hotel resort group. The Senior Planning Manager will develop accurate and effective schedules for all new build construction and CAPEX projects based on time, budget and available in-house and outsourced resources.

The successful candidates will have experience delivering large scale construction projects and experience in hotels, resorts and mixed-use is desirable not essential.  

Responsibilities

• Complete planning management of pre-construction, construction and close out phases
• Develop accurate and effective schedules for all construction projects including new build and CAPEX based on time, budget and available in-house and outsourced resource.
• Setup maintain & manage effective schedule for approval processes and early construction stages.
• Develop and integrate a master schedule with contractors at early construction access
• Ensure schedules are pre-planned to avoid preventable mistakes
• Incorporate design schedule to construction schedule and material delivery
• Manage shop drawings, samples and data sheets
• Track and manage risk possibilities
• Gather, analayse and create project progress reports
• Update master schedule on a regular basis
• Follow a proper sequence of work to maximize quality control measures
• Monitor logistics arrangements, delivery and storage of equipment and materials on site
• Proactively manage the contractors to achieve outstanding quality on the finished product
• Develop a schedule to identify closeout activities
• Monitor inspections and sign off tracking
