Responsibilities:-  

• Review the efficiency of bus route network. Make proposals on routeings and service levels.
• Evaluate proposals by using financial models and forecasting methodologies.
• Keep abreast of business environment such as demographics, infrastructure, competition and public sentiments.
• Plan for data collection, analytics and compilation of reports. Field observations and survey may be required from time to time.
• Forward planning for bus fleet and manpower requirements.

Requirements:-  

• Degree in Transport, Geography, Logistics, Finance or Business Administration. Level 4 or above in Mathematics of the HKDSE;
• 6 years’ working experience of transport planning in consultancy or transport operator;
• Comprehensive understanding of road and public transport network in Hong Kong. Possess class 1 driving licence;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Experience in analytical and programming tools are preferred;
• Experience in financial analysis will be a definite advantage;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Planning Officer.
