Key Responsibilities/职位描述

 

  1. OMT
     
    SITE OPERATIONS GROUP (SOG) RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set 2nd tier Objectives and Targets associate with site OGSM
  • Review of site performance (including OMT) each period using site scorecard
  • Review of site Safety Plan
     
    LINE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    -OHS Risk Management responsibilities:
  • Ensure that adequate resources to enable satisfactory completion of this risk assessment are made available
  • Reviewing that risk control measures have been developed using consultative means
  • Ensure that risk control measures are evaluated to determine whether outcomes meet site task/activity requirements and are implemented effectively
  • Line managers of associates who are designated owners of risk control plans are responsible for ensuring that assessed risk controls are implemented in accordance with the planned schedule
     
    -Incident Investigation responsibilities:
  • Management of Serious Incidents
  • Conducting the Incident Investigation and preparing the incident report
  • Ensuring that the process for a “Serious” incident is then followed if it is discovered that a “Minor” incident could have resulted in an outcome described in the definition of a “Serious” incident
  • Starting investigations immediately, and completing the initial interviews and inquiries before leaving the premises.
  • Collecting incident information
  • Ensuring that the investigation considers all issues
  • Managing the interview of witnesses as soon as possible after the incident. Also ensure that interviews are:-
                   carried out individually
                   all facts are recorded
                   witness sign their interview statements
  • Evidence analysis  to ensure that:-
           determine immediate assessment of possible contributing factors
           basic assessment of possible contributing factors
  • Ensuring that corrective actions which directly address the identified causes are agreed and implemented in consultation with stakeholders (Incident Investigation)
  • Ensuring that the investigation findings and the associated corrective actions are communicated to the injured party/report initiator
  • Providing the results of the Incident Investigation to any injured parties/report initiators either at the review or on return to work.
  • Ensuring that Incident Investigations are documented for all minor and serious incidents, including complete records of any interviews conducted
     
    -Systems of Work responsibilities:-
  • Ensure associates are provided with training in the requirements of the new or reviewed system of work and are assessed by a designated competent person prior to commencing any work activity
     
    2       Leadership and Associate Engagement: (What you do and how you do it?)
    Provide business communication updates regularly with direct reports and plant associates.
    Regular contact with Associates directly, through planned communication meetings and via the Working Group, Safety Steering Group and Continuous Improvement activities.
    Consider the impact to Associate Engagement during strategy development, business proposals and implementation plans for all initiatives occurring on site.
     
    Ensure attendance by self and Associates with line management responsibilities to Gallup Q12 or Associate Engagement programs provided for line managers.
    Fed back Gallup Q12 results and conduct an impact planning session with direct team with SMART actions that will increased engagement and team performance.
    Shared the team’s impact plan with your Line Manager and review direct reports, with line manager responsibilities, impact plans.
    Review these impact plans every 3 months to ensure that actions are followed through effectively.
    Understand the individual motivator direct reports
    Recognize and reward superior performance and celebrate success.
    Meet regularly with Shift Management teams to ensure consistency across shifts and leadership in these areas.
    Ensure Performance management process is being effectively utilized with focus on personal development plans and functional skills for all Associates.
     
    3.     Operational Excellence (What you do and how you do it?)
    Ensure ongoing review of plant performance and improvement initiatives (TRS Roadmaps) are implemented effectively.
    Ensure the plant scheduling maximizes plant efficiencies and customer service requirements
    Ensure product not meeting specification is minimized / eliminated via root cause analysis and standardized work practices reviewed
     
    4.     Develop a Continuous Improvement Culture (MSE):
    (What you do and how you do it?)
    To achieve ongoing and sustainable continuous improvement in every aspect of Operations requires Associates willing to identify wastes (“7+1 wastes”) and resources to develop and implement improvements whilst engaging the idea originator.  
     
    5. World Class Quality & Food Safety (What you do and how you do it?)
    Demonstrate understanding of a broad knowledge base incorporating all concepts, with Quality and Food Safety Global Standards
    Analyze and plan approaches to technical problems or management requirements
    Monitor the implementation of Quality and Food Safety to Mars Global Standards
    Evaluate information, using it to forecast for planning or research purposes to support HACCP and QMP systems
    Take responsibility for own outputs in relation to broad quantity and quality parameters
    Take responsibility for the achievement of quality and food safety outcomes.
     
    Participate as a member of the PRIMP team as outlined in the PRIMP process.
    Review and discuss at SOG meetings outstanding CPAR’s, RA1’s, periodic quality reports and statistics and to follow through on assigned actions in agree timeframe.
     
    PRIMP Incident Team Member.  On activation of the PRIMP process this position is responsible for participating in a full business risk assessment including a formal recommendation to the business on the investigation outcomes (RA2). This position is responsible for ensuring that a backup is trained and available when required. 
     
    6.     Deliver Best Flexible Cost Structure (What you do and how you do it?)
    Manage all aspects of this role within agreed budgets. Contribute to Operating Plan inputs.
     
    7.     World Class Execution of Activities (What you do and how you do it?)
    Participate and contribute at Activity Review Team (ART) meetings and action assigned actions to ensure the effective execution of business activities such as new product launches.

 

Qualifications/任职条件

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • At least 5 years management experiencee especially for supply /Quality mgmt./operation/engineeringrelated
