As Technical Consultant you support our global sales force with comprehensive responses to technical requests regarding SIEMENS Cybersecurity solutions remote and on-site. You consult and train customers on the use of SIEMENS Cybersecurity portfolio and solutions in the industry-, energy- and transportation sector. Design and specification of solutions for industrial security based on customer requirements, international and industrial standards, such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST und NERC CIP. Your expertise in firewall technologies, vulnerability-, asset-, anomaly detection and Zero Trust, enables you to develop and elaborate new concepts for cybersecurity solutions, as well as for the migration, enhancement, and optimization of existing implementations. After a structured orientation and training phase, you will perform technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts, to our cybersecurity offering to colleagues, partners, and customers. As trainer for our training program, you develop, maintain, and execute worldwide trainings and workshops. Your daily work experience is important to us! Your feedback helps us to improve our products, portfolio, services, and solutions. Developing content for white papers, technical presentations, creating references for valuable customer applications and the technical support of market launch activities is also part of your daily work. Together with our service team, you work on the execution of projects and the commissioning of cybersecurity implementation in the OT environment. In close collaboration with our sales force, you will work on technical complex cybersecurity- requests, RFIs and RFPs. What we would appreciate: University degree in Telecommunication, IT engineering and related field or secondary education with confirmed experience as network engineer/consultant Experience in the design, implementation and configuration of Ethernet networks, network management applications, firewalls, vulnerability-, asset-, anomaly detection and Zero Trust solutions. Preferably 3–5-year experience as network engineer/consultant, preferably with focus on OT/IT security solutions. Strong customer focus and demonstrable ability to build trusting relationships with sales and customers. Willingness to learn Automation Solutions, High Available Industrial Networks, Security standards and best practices for industrial application. Interculturally open, keen on communication and confident in presenting across all hierarchical levels. Language and presentation skills fluently in English Willingness to travel (up to 50%) Below mentioned knowledge & skills are Your advantage: Professional network and cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Siemens CPIN/CEIN, Cisco CCNA, IEC 62443, ISO 27001 etc.) Experience in vulnerability scanning & assessments, penetration testing, Fuzz testing, API testing, hardware security testing. Experience in security assessment tools (e.g., NESSUS, NMap, Kali Linux tools, etc.), as well as Linux, VMware, KVM and docker.
