As a Senior Procurement Specialist/Associate Procurement Manager in Global Procurement Services in Warsaw, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the day to day sourcing and contracting activity, in partnership with the Global Category Teams.

Currently, we are expanding our team and looking for procurement professionals with various experience within the Indirect and Commercial categories such as, but not limited to:
Facilities Management, Utilities, Office Supplies, Laboratory Equipment, Consumables and Lab Services
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Procurement Specialist/Associate Procurement Manager your main responsibility is to play a key role in assisting the end-to-end Source to Contract process. Including a supporting role in the preparation of gathering the sourcing requirements, assisting in the effective delivery of a sourcing event including sourcing evaluation, contract development and execution, contracting governance (approval, signatures, storage) and assisting with regular contract renewals.
Essential Requirements
University degree preferred
Excellent English communication skills (Polish is not a must)
Self- motivated, able to work without constant management support.
Demonstrates a can-do approach
Desire to work as part of a strong team
Background experience of working collaboratively across teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization and externally with suppliers.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of sourcing and contracting processes.
Experience with Microsoft Office Tools
Desirable Requirements
Background operating in a similar complex, matrix, global organization like AstraZeneca or similarly heavily regulated industry.
A drive to develop skills in the Source to Contract
Basic Project Management skills to effectively manage events/small projects on behalf of the team
Experience of working with suppliers and supplier engagement
In-depth knowledge of regional market dynamics through in-market or regional experience
Market research expertise.
