Job Overview
 
As a Data Analyst on the SpecPro21 data team you will learn how to create, maintain and test data that our dealers use to spec, quote and order our trucks.
 
Responsibilities
- Use ICS or other data tools to model, develop, and maintain proprietary database structures in preparation of data for SpecPro 21 Price Level and weekly interim updates.
- Analyze, interpret, develop, and implement product definitions, and corporate directives for the development of SpecPro 21 sales application data.
- Use ICS or other data tools to create and maintain option rules based on interpretation of provided product definition including option availability, compatibility, price, weight, electronic parameters and package rules.
- Continuously be looking for ways to automate or reduce the manual data maintenance.
- Provide insight to other Product Data Analysts assisting in the ECF maintenance.
- Analyze and interpret rule requirements for options not explicitly defined by the data book product definition.
- Recording, and following up on known issues with SpecPro 21 data, making certain data is complete, accurate, and released to the field in a timely manner.
- Provide unit testing on all product data changes validation your work will not disrupt the Freightliner and Western Star sales force using SpecPro 21 in the field.
