Product and Test Engineer with a passion for development of high-performance CMOS products. The position will have responsibility for engineering tools to be used in development, manufacturing readiness and mass production. They will also be responsible for data analytics during characterization and manufacturing.
The position requires someone with experience with developing tools and scripts that to drive effectiveness of the team and build in methodology. A core strength in the statistics, scripting languages, statistical analysis tools, bench test platforms and ATE platforms. It is highly beneficial to have knowledge in all parts of semiconductor product development and manufacturing including characterization, qualification, fab, test, and packaging. Background in high performance products such as GPU and CPUs as well ASICs.
Responsibilities
The candidate will need to work across functions inside of Microsoft as well as manage multiple partners/vendors over multiple products to achieve the overall product manufacturing goals.
Qualifications
>10 years of experience in product and test engineering depending education background and relevant product and market experience
Experienced in tool development for product development
Proficiency with scripting languages, high level languages, scripting for statistical analysis tools
Proficiency in protocols used for communicating to test equipment
Experience in lab developing testbench platforms
Experienced in product characterization
Experience in product qualification
Strong probability and statistics background including DOE
Good understanding of manufacturing test
Good understanding of packaging
Good understanding of SPC methods
Experience in IC production
Experience in both EFA and PFA
Strong presentation and communication skills
Beneficial Experience and Skills
Good understanding of design flow
Good background in risk probability analysis
Educational Requirement
BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering, or Computer Sciences
