Senior Product Engineer

Location: Çerkezköy, TURKEY

 

Primary Function:

 

This position will be responsible for Use engineering technical expertise and project management knowledge to carry out new product development and R & D Center projects. This role  will be responsible for establishing project inspection criteria, coordinating the review of project designs and ensuring the proper implementation of project elements.

 

Your key deliverables:

 

• Project Leader or Technical Leader for large New Product Development  Prolaunch projects or multible small RPS type projects
• Drive global localizations and rationalization projects with global engineering team as Project Leader or Technical Leader
• Proficient application of core Engineering tools/ principles, industry best practices and recognition for technical expertise.(Design Rules, DFMEA, writing Engineering Test Reports, Testing, Eng.drawings )
• Researcher in R & D center projects and to provide follow up of project cards.
• Record of contributing to improvements in technical or project management processes. Actively participate on Task Force Teams
• Establishing engineering standards, technical drawings and bill of materials for the commissioning of new products.
• Demonstrate effective communication with peers and management.
• Demonstrate use of problem solving techniques. Taking part in Quality 8D activities
• Lead VA/VE cost out projects
• Follow technological developments and to make patent applications within this cope.
• Give technical support to our sales department, Product managers and Purchasing team.
• Participates in technical customer and supplier visits. Taking part in trade fairs and technical organizations.
• Prepare raw material / material specifications to be used in new development products.
• Taking active role in product engineering tasks in quality system audits
• Create continuous improvement project ideas and take part as project leader.

Qualifications

Are you?

Required:

 

• Bachelor of Science degree /  Master of Science in Engineering Preferred
• Typically has 3 to 10 years of experience
• Team-oriented problem solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to lead Projects under low level direction and guidance
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills to collaborate effectively
