Senior Product Manager

BCGDV is working on a new digital offering that is part of a medtech healthcare company’s digital innovation business unit. This business unit will focus on creating new digital products and platforms that transform the lives of patients. This venture will be the first product within the digital innovation unit. This product will be a next generation digital platform aimed at a neurological disorder to empower patients to better understand their condition, have better conversations with their doctor and ultimately achieve better health outcomes. The new venture has plans to grow aggressively to engage patient and health care professionals, with an initial focus in the US market. 

BCG Digital Ventures has built an MVP leveraging wearables and latest Machine Learning technology for the first product in the business unit – we are looking for an exceptional product manager to help continue to develop this MVP, who will be responsible for developing the product vision, overall roadmap and execute on the delivery of this to meet users’ needs. This role will report directly to the Lead Product Manager.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment amidst uncertainty, be comfortable in driving processes with ambiguity
• Develop feature lists, user stories and roadmaps
• Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools and A/B testing
• Be highly detail oriented in systems build and implementation in healthcare settings
• Work with Engineering and Design to execute on a roadmap that takes MVP through to launch and growth stage
• Monitor and report on KPIs that drive key product and business decisions for the business unit
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to scope, design, test and deliver innovative solutions
• Foster a culture of data-driven validated learning culture across all functions
• Manage releases and communication with all internal (and often external) stakeholders

Background

• Experience of product management, experience in Agile teams, linking engineering teams with sales/customer voice
• Start-up mentality with track record of launching and scaling digital products
• Ability to work amidst uncertainty, comfortable driving processes with ambiguity 
• Experience working in a regulated environment a plus
• Experience with mobile/wearable technology a plus
• Familiarity with enterprise systems or other systems with business logic a plus
• Experience strengthening partner relationships and interacting with Engineering teams.
• Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment.
• Comfort with new technology and thinking outside the box to develop and implement short and long-term creative solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
