Do you have the ability to think strategically and develop marketing approaches that can scale globally?  Are you passionate about being a key player in landing Microsoft’s cloud and mobility story?  Are you a talented, creative data-driven marketer looking for a high-impact role that will influence the future of our commercial business?   The Global Demand Center (GDC) is looking for a senior integrated marketing lead who can help define and implement a next generation integrated marketing strategy and approach for our Internet of Things (IoT) business. 
 
According to McKinsey, 73% of enterprises and more than 40% of organizations expect IoT to offer significant new business opportunities in the next three years. IDC predicts that that there will be +30B connected devices by 2020.  To meet this demand, Microsoft is continuing to invest in IoT and is launching a new Global Engagement Program for IoT Partners. 

Responsibilities

The Industry Marketing Global Engagement Program and Content Team is looking for an experienced marketer who will be responsible for developing the multi-channel go-to-market strategy and execution plans to drive engagement with Microsoft’s IoT partners through a new Global Engagement Program. 

 

This high-profile role will strategize, create, manage, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns enabled by our marketing automation platform.  If you have integrated marketing experience and can organize and drive groups toward common goals in a productive way.  If you are capable and comfortable engaging with executives and individual contributors alike, we want to hear from you. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of:
Strong integrated marketing skills with experience managing global marketing programs and campaigns
Detail-oriented, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to synthesize raw data into actionable campaign optimization strategies for new and existing initiatives.
Ability to distill complex business and technology strategies to compelling messaging across various marketing materials and to a variety of audiences.


Ability to build a business case and then work to influence peers and management on business decisions that impact your work.
Strong time and project management skills with proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Outstanding cross-group collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving, and executive presentation skills are required.


Comfort with high levels of ambiguity and proven ability to have impact and influence.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  MBA preferred.
