Key points and objectives of the position:
Lead Paint workshop production in accordance with the targets of workshop under consideration of the costs, planning, productivity, reliability, number of units, quality and environment targets. Plan and monitor the permanent optimization and strategic development of the processes in order to ensure the competitiveness of the workshop.
Description of tasks:
1. Management
The management, motivation and development of staff using target agreements and performance appraisals, founded on our mission statement & corporate values, and provision of purposeful internal communications in order to achieve the agreed objectives.
Ensuring that the necessary training appropriate to the needs of individual employees and the tasks assigned to them is provided.
Informing subordinated employees about the relevant provisions and instructing them to comply with the provisions. Ensuring that they are implemented properly.
2. Strategy
Cooperate in the development of the center strategy and align the department according to it. Develop and agree strategies for implementation advance your own role and ensure implementation. Steer your own role on the basis of targets and key performance indicators and safeguard reporting capacity in partnership with the functional areas.
3. Paint Production department
Ensure the targets for production, safety, Personnel , quality ,TOS and cost are achieved.
Assist in developing new production technologies to optimize the production process and introduce them to ensure that state-of-the-art technology is used and cost targets are achieved.
4. Planning and optimization of input factors
Plan input factors according to the short term and long term planning. Coordinate and advise on work procedures in cooperation with Planning, LOG, QM and HR.
Responsibility for measures and projects for the achievement of the cost goals. Monitor the budget and ensure improvement of productivity.
5. Paint Production Equipment / Area-specific questions
Ensure the availability of the production equipment and optimize it in terms of function and cost. Ensure life cycle support, taking financial considerations on board. Define nature and scope of outsourcing. Influence the design of the production equipment in order to obtain equipment which is optimised in terms of both production needs and cost. Drive forward the standardisation of the production equipment together with planning. During new start-ups, cooperate in the development and specification of start-up strategies. Help test new technologies for series capability and represent the interests of maintenance and operator at higher-level meetings, committees, etc.
The aim is to employ standardised technology to help achieve the cost targets of the production centres/service centres.
6. Planning & control
Plan, agree and manage the budget and headcount in accordance with key performance indicators. Monitor compliance with budget targets, introduce and supervise cost-cutting measures where necessary, in liaison with the line manager, and develop an awareness of costs among staff.
