Intel in 2022 is set to launch our Intel® Arc™ graphics solutions, a line of GPUs starting with our first, codename Alchemist, this year and following with a roadmap of services and solutions into the future. In addition to gaming GPUs are used in many applications, unleashing and accelerating different creative experiences from photo and video editing, drawing and illustration, animation, and visualization.
Intel is looking for exceptional leaders to work both internally, with our software teams, and externally, with development partners, to deliver these amazing experiences on Intel’s graphics platforms. As a Senior solutions engineer in the Professional Graphics Engineering team you will lead one or more initiatives to deep dive into these creative experiences to comprehend and lead what is need from bottom of the stack all the way up to the user needs in order to drive the right urgency on feature development and enablement to the ecosystem in our solutions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate
- experience in one or more of these domains at a senior level
- proven track record and skills to manage external and internal stakeholders
- strong written and oral communication skills to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
A Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a directly related field
6+ years of experience in a related position.
In depth knowledge of graphics subsystems such as task scheduling, memory models, caching, streaming, etc.
Graphics programming experience in one or more of DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, CUDA or other.
Experience with large, unfamiliar codebases, and the willingness to add meaningful data-driven improvements to them.
Experience with performance profiling and optimization on the GPU and/or CPU.
Experience with external customer/partner collaboration
Preferred:
Experience/familiarity with the following highly sought:
Modern processor architecture, including CPU, GPU, memory sub-system and other components.
SIMD assembly, vectorization, and optimization.
DirectShow and Windows Media Foundation, FFmpeg, Gstreamer or another multimedia framework and audio/video codecs
DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL or another 3D graphics environment.
Video Analytics and/or AI frameworks/libraries such as OpenCV, OpenVX, DirectML, WinML, PytTorch, or Tensorflow.
Direct knowledge of application usage in creative and/or professional field including Photo & Video Editing, Illustration, Animation, AEC, CAD, etc.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$148,930.00-$238,410.00
