The Azure High-Performance Computing (HPC) software team, part of the greater Azure HPC and Azure Compute teams, drives the software and services that enable our users to run technical computing workloads in Azure - from batch workloads, to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), to traditional HPC simulations, to remote visualization. We are responsible for three primary offerings: Azure Batch, Azure CycleCloud, and HPC Pack, and we work closely with the Azure HPC hardware team and other teams within Microsoft, as well as the broader HPC + AI ecosystem. This is an exciting time for HPC + AI, as they are undergoing a massive shift. AI technologies are being merged with existing HPC approaches, and both are moving to the cloud!
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager for the Azure Batch and HPC Pack products. The Senior PM will drive new HPC & AI platform capabilities and help improve product quality and user experience.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Program and/or Product Management experience in the technology industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep experience with the technical computing workloads and requirements of the financial services or health and life sciences industries
- Experience in defining and/or shipping products/services
- Experience in defining and/or shipping APIs and API-driven solutions
- Experienced in building business cases to advocate for customer and partner success
- Proficient in driving both technology and business differentiation, market and competitive research
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
