Responsibilities
With a deep understanding of our business objectives you will identify the core needs of your customers and explore options for solving for these needs with partners across Research, Design, Engineering and more. Through collaboration with your feature crew and those in the broader Office and Microsoft ecosystems you will develop these options, experiment, evaluate, iterate, and deliver great experiences that are proven to solve for your customer’s needs.
- You must have a proven track record of conducting customer research to synthesize core customer focused requirements and goals.
- Be experienced in using hypothesis to evaluate options and be comfortable exploring Product Data with tools like Kusto or similar.
- Be a capable storyteller to bring the customers voice into the product lifecycle.
- Have an affinity for taking complex projects and problems and breaking them down into discreet steps/actions with milestones to track progress and success along the journey.
- Be an awesome collaborator! Your ability to generate energy and engagement for your business objectives is a critical success factor.
- You should possess strong UI/UX experience and abilities, have a solid technical background and understanding of software engineering principles/models and a demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on new technical domains.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience with software development projects
- Track record of driving software/service experiences that have shipped to customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and to identify, assess, and solve problems quickly
- Experience with software development projects
- Proven track record of analytical thinking and teamwork
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and customer insights
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal)
- Experience with data driven and iteration based approaches for improving customer outcomes
- Experience in project management and familiarity with one or more project management tools
