We are seeking an experienced technical program manager to drive projects that will introduce new capabilities into our geographical information system, Octant. The successful candidate will work with cross-organizational engineering leaders to identify opportunities to establish geospatial analytical features that will enable planners, analysts, and engineers to design cost-optimized data center infrastructure that achieve the highest standards in providing rapid-fast network performance, and always-up network availability. This role requires in-depth knowledge in data center infrastructure, along with subject matter expertise in network architecture, topologies, equipment, protocols, telemetry, and design principles.

- Work with stakeholders to define product features and construct functional specs.
- Prepare plans to manage the delivery of new product capabilities, along with tracking program scope, schedule, and budget.
- Run sprint planning, standups, UAT, and release deployments.
- Prepare presentations to report program status to executive and management level stakeholders.
- Evangelize geospatial system capabilities across CO+I and partner organizations, to achieve maximum business leverage.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in geospatial analytics, tools, and frameworks, and in building spatial intelligence systems.
- Subject matter expertise in data center infrastructure and deployments.
- In-depth understanding of network architecture, topology, equipment, protocols, and telemetry systems.
- Working knowledge in design principles for achieving network performance and availability constraints.
- Strong expertise in wide-area network architecture and design, from fiber to router.
- Strong expertise in data center and metropolitan area network design principles.
- Experience working with telecom, network, internet, and colo service providers.
- Working understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and methodologies.
- Experience in developing applications using Azure's IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS products and services.
- Software engineering background in Python, C#, and in web frameworks.
- Strong expertise in data query languages, Kusto, and SQL.
- Background in data modeling, structures, and translation.
- Fundamental understanding of descriptive statistics.
- Academic understanding of process engineering, and project and service management methodologies. (Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL).
- 8 years of technical program management experience shipping production apps.
- B.S. or Masters in Computer Science or related engineering field.
