COSINE Servicing and Delivery team has a vision of delivering high quality servicing experience for 2 billion happily engaged and connected, up-to-date customers. The team is focused on enabling and unblocking key consumer and business scenarios by keeping customers up-to-date with the latest features, bug fixes, and patching security vulnerabilities for in market OS versions. We are looking for an energetic, highly technical candidate with a strong customer focus for the role of Senior Program Manager in the CSD’s Customer Focused Engineering (CFE) team. CFE is a fast paced (monthly releases directly to customers!), challenging environment with excellent opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

• Investigating and understanding customer scenarios and expectations in depth, using telemetry/data, anecdotal evidence, personal experience and market perceptions
• Manage and coordinate with a team of engineers to deliver features, fixes, and security updates monthly
• Driving efficiency and quality into the engineering processes in partnership with the engineering lead
• Maintaining a great relationship with other cross org feature teams and with the Escalation Services organization
• Removing ambiguity and driving to solutions that are well understand and can be delivered with high quality
• Understanding the broader ecosystem and customer scenarios and using that understanding to set priorities for the team
• Managing schedules, risks, and issues and communicating them effectively to the team, management, and partners

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of PM or development experience and a degree in computer science or related technical field
• Experience driving critical situations with confidence, directing the team towards effective response
• Technical and PM specific knowledge:

o Experience understanding code (C, C++, C#)
o Basic understanding of windows internals and diagnostics
o Familiarity with VSO or other work tracking and bug management systems

• Advanced degree in CS or business administration
• Bias to action and readiness to work with rapid ship cycles
