Join our global engineering team to help us revolutionize how people and teams collaborate and work together. We are hiring for Customer Program Managers based in various locations across Asia to drive Microsoft Teams deployment and adoption – and in many cases, be the first Office 365 or cloud solution for these customers.

 

Your primary responsibility will be to work directly with organizations to plan and drive their adoption of Microsoft Teams – including business vision, scenario design, technical planning, and adoption support. Part of your job will also require triaging and sharing feedback with the product engineers to improve Teams for your customers. As part of the product engineering team, you will work closely colleagues in Asia and around the world.

 

The successful candidate will bring a mix of business and technical experience, has driven and supported deployments of major technology initiatives, and understands how to build a win-win plan with business and technical leaders.

 

This position is a customer-facing role and will have a significant amount of travel to customers in the local country or region, plus some travel outside.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

* Drive Microsoft Teams adoption with strategic customers in the Asia-Pacific region, with a specific MAU target

* Discover and grow new opportunities for Microsoft Teams and Office 365, including “dark-to-cloud” situations

* Co-develop and lead the Microsoft Teams strategy for your region, targeting enterprise, government/education, and firstline worker opportunities, and more

* Partner closely with regional and in-country Microsoft sales, marketing, and support teams to drive adoption and manage escalations, including customer and public events and outreach programs

* Land multiple reference customers and case studies

* Collect, triage, and drive for resolution on customer-blocking issues

* Identify and evangelize broader trends and opportunities to drive longer-term investments and product shift

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* 5+ years of direct customer engagement experience in the technology industry, either in an engineering role with a strong customer focus, or a sales/field role with a strong technical focus

* Track record of guiding large IT deployments from evaluation all the way through deployment at scale to thousands of users

* Solid understanding of technology sales and deployment lifecycle and experience working closely with sales and support teams

* 5+ years of project management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skills on technical projects

* Experience presenting to executives, IT staff, and end users; able to pivot quickly and adapt messaging to suit a range of audience technical levels and requirements

* Technical understanding of collaboration technology and global cloud services, and general ability to ramp up and go deep in new technical areas

* Fluent written and spoken English, including technical and business terms

* Fluent written and spoken language skills as appropriate to the country/region for the job, including technical and business terms

* Ability to apply for appropriate travel visas to Asia-Pacific countries and the US

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
