Are you a talented Senior Program Manager, ready to envision and drive strategic engagements with our ecosystem of partner companies? Ready to ride the explosive growth of the IoT business to greater career heights? This is the role for you!
Responsibilities
STRATEGY: You'll envision what our ecosystem of partner companies should look like. Who should it include? How can we help our partners succeed? What should we expect from them? Evolve the ecosystem for current products to meet our current business goals. Envision from scratch how we organize and grow an ecosystem of partner companies around our new products. Of course it's not enough to only envision the ecosystem. You'll drive relentlessly to make that vision a reality!
RELATIONSHIPS: You'll know the ecosystem of partner companies intimately, connecting with them individually to maintain deep relationships. Establishing multiple touchpoints, you'll connect our product engineering teams with the right ecosystem partner at the right time. Build a rich network of contacts at multiple levels within each ecosystem partner company, available to leverage at any time.
EVENTS: You'll conduct informative and insightful collaboration sessions between ecosystem partners and product group experts. This happens 4-6 times a year around the globe at key conferences and industry events.
TECHNOLOGY: You'll know our broad product portfolio better than any other single person. Represent our portfolio to the ecosystem of partner companies as the their first go-to person. Go deep in a few important areas. Drive transformative change into our product line-up on behalf of the ecosystem.
INITIATIVES: You'll drive 1-3 high-value specific product initiatives & solutions by pulling together our technology, a vast array of internal stakeholders, and our ecosystem of partner companies.
PROCESS: You'll handle the details of our connection with the ecosystem, by running a well-organized program internally and externally. Information and insight about the ecosystem will be accessible and useful for our team internally. Ecosystem partner companies will have an easy-to-use, well-managed two-way conduit for Microsoft confidential product information, roadmaps, detailed materials, sample code and shared data.
