Job summary
Primary job responsibilities
- Serve as an expert in IBM/Red Hat synergy ways of working and answer questions about go-to-market processes and policies, especially regarding post-close changes
- Capture, track, and escalate go-to-market synergy-related issues to ensure the resolution of systemic issues
- Direct sellers and partners to appropriate resources, including run book and internal experts
- Proactively seek feedback from sellers and partners, use data and analytics to identify potential problems, and develop and document best practices to share across the global PCSO team
- Develop familiarity with the IBM and Red Hat sales teams and connect sellers and partners with each other outside of their typical pathways
- Provide enablement training to the staff of the sales and support teams
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Red Hat regional sales leadership, providing advice to sales leadership based on analysed data, best practice sharing, and experience
- Provide regular and timely updates to the regional and cross-geographical leadership teams
Required skills
- University degree, ideally a master’s degree or an MBA in business with a project analytics
- project, program, and process management acumen
- 5+ years of international work experience in sales or sales support functions, preferably in the software industry
- Experience working with multiple projects in a matrix environment
- Experience in a sales or sales operations or support role and empathetic to the concerns of sellers
- Located in the market that you support and speaking the language of that market
- Responsive to seller inquiries, some of which might be urgent
- Resourceful; ability to find answers to questions to which no easy answers are available
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-established connections within Red Hat; ability to navigate cross-geographical, business, and corporate functions
- Committed to Rad Hat and to the success of the Red Hat transition into IBM, not on the way out
