Overview

BSL is seeking for a highly passionate candidate who wants to work together with us as a green and sustainability conscious project team in creating one of the most unique automation platform that will transform the outlook of the green building industry in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area.

Responsibilities

1) Analyze the internal and external workflow of the BEAM Plus assessment.

2) Design user requirement for the BEAM Plus automation platform.

3) Review UX design, system function and system design deliverables provided by the IT specialists.

4) Coordinate between the user groups and IT specialists in finalizing the user requirement and ensuring that the IT specialists are programming the automation platform in accordance with the user requirement.

5) Manage the overall delivery schedule of the BEAM Plus automation platform.

6) Support the planning and implementation of the stakeholder engagement session by contributing ideas.

7) Co-ordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders such as statutory bodies, professional groups and professional institutions to obtain views and comments on the BEAM Plus automation system.

8) Provide technical support and updates on the automation system to Committees and Task Forces.

9) Arrange and attend meetings, prepare minutes and report for the Committees.

10) Perform ad­hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

1) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Built Environment / Architecture / Surveying / Building Services Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Energy Science and Engineering/ Environmental Science and Engineering/ Sustainability, or related discipline.

2) Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant design and project management for the position of Senior Project Analyst. Candidate with lesser experience or qualification will be considered as Project Analyst.

3) BEAM Pro, LEED AP or any other green building credentials with solid understanding of green building assessment procedures, policies, rules and regulations are required.

4) Solid project management experience with BEAM Plus, LEED or any other green building projects.

5) Knowledge on the technical linkage between BEAM Plus assessment and other statutory requirements or Government practice note is a must.

6) Understanding of IT system development, databasing, UX design and/or programming language, such as CSS, html, JavaScript is preferred.

7) Be able to work independently and in a team.

8) Good interpersonal and communication skills.

9) Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

10) Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
