Job Description
Role Summary: The Unit Fulfillment Leader reports directly to the PTR Fulfillment Leader. He also has very strong interactions with the Unit Engineering Leader and Unit Plant Manager (GSC) as well as Finance, Quality, EHS.
Project Planning: confirm Projects priorities and validate the Projects plannings to limit GE exposure. Ensure management of the Customer & Project key milestones and monitoring of the progress of Engineering, Sourcing, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics by the fulfillment team
Risk and Opportunities: ensure R&O’s regular assessment, definition of mitigation/action plans & ensure on-time completion by the team
Contract Management & Commercial topics: actively support notifications, changes management (Eng & Proc), claims and VOs, EoT management, LDs negotiations, acceptances, Bonds, Warranty
Quality & EHS: responsible for Q (Q plan, ITP’s, NCR) and EHS performances of the Projects and support improvement plans
Project monitoring: lead/participate to the key regular projects reviews, ensuring projects execution monitoring i.e. engineering progress, sourcing, procurement (until PO approvals), manufacturing and logistics. Monitor the Gate Reviews and drawing s/documents submittal/approval control. Support the customer FAT
Project Financials: responsible for the KPI’s and accountable for the sales targets achievements through optimized pacing, monitor all along the project costs at completion and is accountable for margin deviations achievements, accountable for the cash through optimized billing (internal & external), ensuring expediting retention works and actively supporting past dues collections
Project closing: monitor handovers with customer, closing of snags, last payments, bond recollection, handle of warranty issues, perform return on experience, closing of project
Site works: ensure the team timely complete, the site project documentation. With customer, manage site preparation and site conditions, DOR, tools, manpower & schedule. Follow-up of site progress, works acceptance and site NCRs closure
Team Management
Engineering Diploma or equivalent education
Desired Knowledge & Experience
5 to 10 years as Project Manager (large projects or projects portfolio) domestic and/or export
English fluent, 2nd language, 3rd language appreciated
Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work, intl. exposure & awareness)
Energy management Systems and/or Substation Automation market and customers
Internal EHS trainings:
- Customer management and communication
- On time delivery and as per Safety, Quality, Costs, Cash, Delivery
- Sales targets achievements
- Margin deviations achievements
- Cash achievements: billing (internal + external), past dues, retention
- E&C works on time as per SQCCD

Team Management
- Leads and coaches the team composed of of Project Managers and E&C specialists to secure the project objectives and complete the works as per SQQCD
- Develops and improves the team skills from his experience and advice, trains, motivates and evaluates the team
- Controls the team time and workload, coordinates the team to optimize the use of resources, arbitrates
- Gets directly involved in crisis situations, drives action plans, meets Customers, partners, Contractors
- ensures and controls the use of PM processes and tools
- Validates Project organization & project teams, leads regular project reviews
- controls the execution of action plans issued from project reviews with focus on anticipation of events, risks identification and management, cash position
- Reports identified or anticipated deviations to the PL Fulfillment Leader and proposes corrective actions plans
- Assists the Project Managers in negotiations with Partners, Contractors and Customers
- Takes personally in charge major or strategic projects
- ensures end-to-end project life cycle from kick-off to closure including billing, cash collection & management of bonds
- drives and controls the enforcement of Contract Management Processes
- supports PM in preparing and negotiating Variation Orders and Claims, with advice from the legal adviser when necessary
- Business development within portfolio: detects new business opportunities, project extensions, visits customers
- Performs global risk assessment, forecasts, Project Traffic Light, mitigation/management view
- contributes to the finalization of costs, matrix of responsibilities, schedules and milestones during preparation of offers in order to clearly identify responsibilities and areas of commitments of GE, partners as well as Customer
- Reviews contracts before signature
