Job Description

Overall Purpose of Role

Manages a team of project managers who implement solutions to clients, resulting in excellent customer satisfaction, retention, and ultimately repeat revenue growth. Applies domain expertise and business knowledge to enable project managers to manage their projects. Performs all management responsibilities across the group and is often involved in individual contributor tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leveraging deep functional and customer knowledge, manage the overall operation of the team to drive productivity and effectiveness of project implementations that result in customers’ high satisfaction.
  • Oversee and monitor the progress of multiple projects against established targets and KPIs (e.g., revenue and profitability).
  • Develop positive relationships with customers.
  • Relied upon to provide effective communications to stakeholders, such as alerts and status updates, especially on critical issues.
  • Act as an escalation point in helping to resolve project issues such as client concerns, resourcing, and timing conflicts. 
  • Provide timely direction and feedback to team to make necessary adjustments to project plans. 
  • Enable the team to deliver exceptional, provide feedback and coach effective project management methods to drive success.
  • Work cooperatively with other teams and clients to address issues and concerns. 
  • Promote collaboration and information sharing among project teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Responsible for on boarding new customer groups and ensuring efficient deployment of corporate initiatives such as Helix, IMT etc.

 

Requirements

  • At least 7 years’ experience in localization project management, with highly professional knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability in implementing complex projects, overall managing projects going in regions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business concepts, strategy, and strategic thinking to achieve business goals.
  • Strong ownership in responsibility, and developed capacity for change with initiative.
  • Outstanding account management skill in building up and maintaining good relationship with customers.
  • Good interaction skill in collaboration, giving and gaining support, and with stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills with confidence, honesty and logic
  • Able to initiate and drive efficiency and effectiveness within the team by adapting and implementing technology changes.
  • Experienced in staff management; good skill in (remote) team leadership, give support and motivation, be coach to team members, with team members spread in different regions.
  • Business level of English and Chinese in oral/written.
  • Proficient in PM tools and Microsoft Office suits.
