• Robustly manage & execute Data Analytics initiatives, including strategic planning, within Group, across key partners & BU stakeholders
• Provide visibility of initiatives’ status to senior stakeholders through the provision of regular status reports highlighting deviations, actual or potential, to the agreed baseline (schedule, budget and scope/quality)
• Ensure that processes and methodologies as specified are followed to provide effective monitoring, control and support of project delivery.
• Work alongside functional leads to ensure the success of key deliverables
• Manage and address programme risks and issues
• Build strong and productive relationships with key business stakeholders.

Planning and Execution:

• Key duties:
  • Ensure scope and deliverables of project are defined, agreed and meet sponsor’s expectations
  • Work closely with wider business teams and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and to ensure these are translated into project scope and plan
• Evaluation criteria:
  • Project definitions, specifications and requirements are delivered within agreed timeframes and to quality standards to meet client expectations
  • Project is completed within Quality, Time and Cost targets

Stakeholder relationships:

• Key duties:
  • Develop collaborative working environment for Group and Bus teams for the successful programme execution
  • Work with BU Teams to agree project scope, objectives and desired business benefits and schedules
  • Communicate progress against project plans to senior stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Address Issues and Risks highlighted by BU Stakeholders

  • Local BU Senior stakeholder feedback

Professional standards in project management:

• Key duties:
  • Develop and actively manage the overall project plan to ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Ensure that project risks are identified, and appropriate plans are in place to either avoid or overcome these risks
  • Identify, evaluate and manage the implementation of scope and other changes to meet project requirements
  • Communicate progress against project plans to all stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Initiate formal reviews of the project to assess the work carried out and benefits obtained
  • Continually seek out relevant industry and technical knowledge and improve on professional skills by completing necessary development activities
• Evaluation criteria:
  • Programme is delivered in accordance with agreed implementation approach and governance structure
  • Project scope is agreed with key project stakeholders and is reviewed on a timely basis
  • Key stakeholder agreement is obtained if change is required and adjustments are made within agreed timeframes
  • Project deliverables are delivered on time, within budget and at agreed quality levels
  • Complete project reporting on time to the requisite quality
