Key Responsibilities

Responsible for Manufacturing Portfolio Management on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Manufacturing Transfer Projects to enable revenue and productivity target.

• Interface with Business and cross functional Project team ranging from PMO, Product Management, R&D, Service and Operations (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA, Distribution) to meet project objectives/metrices and achieve seamless transition into production.
• Plan and execute Instrument Manufacturing Portfolio strategy through effective project resource/cost management.
• Organize / Participate in project meeting and compile project status report to stakeholders and project team to drive deliverables to schedule and develop resolutions to mitigation risks/issues.
• Drive / Support operational readiness with Engineering, GSC, QA and Manufacturing for pilot development build, trial manufacturing build and initial mass production. Conduct post build reviews and compile reports.
• Partner with PMO and R&D for NPI and Pitch Team for Manufacturing Transfer to derive product cost and drive initiatives / actions to attain cost targets.
• Lead / Support new product process creation, optimize existing process and implement technical breakthrough activities through Lean / Six Sigma methodology to reduce manufacturing costs and/or enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Drive / Embrace Design for Manufacturability (DFM) on new products with R&D and Operations to improve overall first pass yield at product launches.
• Maintain and ensure systems and procedures in compliance to the Organization’s Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.
• Lead operations optimization activities in assigned manufacturing portfolio to improve cost, quality and delivery where possible.

Qualifications and Experiences

• Bachelor Degree (Honors) in Biomedical/Bioengineering/Pharmaceutical Engineering/Engineering
• At least 8-10 years relevant experience in for Manufacturing Portfolio management, New Product Introduction, Manufacturing transfer, Manufacturing/Engineering , preferable with prior experience in Life Sciences / Biomedical industry.
• Proven track record in management project resource/cost effectively in a dynamic and matrix reporting organization.
• Strong skills in project management, organizational / planning, analytical and ability to organize project review/planning sessions.
• A dynamic team player with ability to motivate and interact with cross functional team and manage multiple projects.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels, across functions and cross cultural.
• Proficient in MS Project/PowerPoint and ERP (SAP/Oracle)
• Good understanding of ISO requirements.
• Lean / Six Sigma and problem-solving skills.

Prior experience in execution of Industrial 4.0 implementation will be a plus.
