Arup Programme and Project Management is expanding the programme and planning team for the increasing market coverage. The candidate will be working on high profile and large scale projects in the regions.

Responsibilities:

• Take lead and report to Project Leader for the planning, scheduling and programme development of project activities, including design, statutory submissions and approvals, procurement process, construction, inspection, close-out and handover
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, project stakeholders and end-users. Manage design consultants and contractors for project success
• Review, monitor and report actual progress against project programme
• Identify risks and opportunities with mitigation strategies to maintain key project milestones and completion date
• Chair programme review workshops with project team and stakeholders
• Act as Client’s Representative as necessary
• Willing to work outside Hong Kong as and when required

Qualifications and Experiences required:

• Candidates should possess membership of a recognised professional institute in Project Management / Architectural / Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction / Building Surveying
• At least 5 years of post chartered experience for the position of Senior Project Manager; at least 2 years of post chartered experience for the position of Project Manager; at least 3 years of post graduation experience for the position of Assistant Project Manager  
• Conversant with local government regulations and health & safety for building projects
• Familiar with project management software tools, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project and Building Information Management (BIM) will be an advantage
• Creative, self-motivated with good management and effective communication skills
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Ability to speak Putonghua will be an advantage
