Job Purpose:
We are looking for high calibers to work with business units, IT team and vendors to drive initiatives tied to the Smart Campus program through detailed management of all program aspects related to the cross-functional teams to support the future growth and continuous innovation of the campus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design of the IT backbone supporting the Smart Campus initiatives
- Maximize program success by communicating with cross-functional teams and provide the latest status on key initiatives to the leadership team.
- Possess the aptitude to understand every work stream and the interdependencies each work stream has on the overall program. Articulate conflicts, mitigate potential risks and add value to the daily program operation to ensure smooth implementation.
- Track key project milestones, recommend adjustments to project managers and escalate to senior leadership as needed to provide visibility and request assistance to resolve issues.
- Lead partnerships or other external relationships with industry organizations and vendors as needed.
- Responsible for RFP, RFQ and project related documents and deliver data-driven presentations for management review
- Performa any other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
- Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Science or Systems Engineering or any other related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ of relevant working experience in IT application and development, of which 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager
- Experience in using PMP, Agile methodology and/or Scrum with corresponding certificate(s) is preferred
- Experience with Smart City, Internet of Things and Micro-service Architecture would be an advantage
- Understanding of cloud PaaS, API, data analysis and web technologies
- Proven track record of planning, leading and implementing complex projects and budgets to give quality output according to timeline
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders of all levels with strong communications and project management skills
- Excellent in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- Personal attributes – independent, result-oriented, analytical, collaborative, multi-tasking and adaptive to a fast-paced environment
