In this regard, new positions focused especially on Sustainability are being created.

Join the Sustainability Team of Accor Northern Europe Hub and become our Project Manager Sustainability at our Warsaw office.

You’ll be responsible for co-creating, evolving and implementing the clear sustainability strategy, roadmap and actions plan, communication on it and the key priorities in the hub. across all the countries we operate in Northern Europe.

 

More precisely?

  • Coordination of the projects within the hub, monitoring the implementation, ensuring they are delivered
  • Be the subject matter expert on sustainability topics and support to the teams, be the point of contact for any inquires
  • Relations with the partners, be the point of contact for them
  • Being the Accor Sustainability ambassador and advocate sustainability matters internally and externally e.g. during the meetings and events.
  • Support with training and development on sustainability within the Support Office teams and Hotels’ network
  • Ensuring the importance of the Sustainability matters are well embarked in the agendas of the stakeholders

Few examples of projects:

  1. Zero Single-Use Plastics in the hotels until the end of 2022
  2. Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050
  3. Eco Labels implementation
  4. Food Waste reductionDiversity & Inclusion, LGBTIQ+, RiiSE (Gender equity)
  5. And many more! (Trainings, , New reporting tool roll-out, Solidarity & Local community actions, Healthy & Sustainable F&B, …)

Who are you?

Proven professional with at least 3 years’ experience in Project Management, ideally focused on Sustainability / Carbon Footprint. Knowledge of Hospitality is a significant plus.  You have a strong academic background e.g., Master in Economics or other. Certifications and/or specific trainings on those topics would be highly appreciated.

You believe that you can make an impact on environmental issues. You have both good analytical and communication skills, you know how to manage change, interact with international stakeholders. You are forward thinking and innovative “builder”, a “solutionist” with positive mindset, enthusiasm, empathy, drive and ability to convince. You know how to adapt in a complex environment with the presence in a variety of geographies.

 

You are fluent in English and in an additional European language (e.g., German, Polish, French)
