We are now looking for our next Senior Project Manager that will drive strategic programs and initiatives and in the Project Management Office (PMO) organization at Sweden Operations in Södertälje, Sweden.

The role

The role as Senior Project Manager involves taking leadership of the site´s cross-functional programs and projects across a wide range of areas within Sweden Operation, as well as drive continuous improvements. The portfolio contains many exciting opportunities in all areas of life cycle management, with focus on strategic transformative changes.

The programs and project teams are multi-disciplinary with participants from all parts of Sweden Operations and with links to both internal and external partners. The role offers opportunities to set-up and lead larger strategic change programs with a high degree of sensitivity and complexity. In addition, your responsibility involves managing budget costs and conduct strategic reviews.

You operate in internal and external environments as well as oversee multiple projects’ interdependencies. The role can, depending on the project, have directs reports. You report directly to Head of Strategy & PMO.

Essential Requirements

  • Practical and proven expertise of project/program management principles and techniques.
  • Understanding of Lean principles and practices.
  • Ability to use English and Swedish as working language
  • Ability to operate independently and make sound business decision with limited information available.
  • Experience of managing high levels of risk by making complex judgments applying a comprehensive cross-functional and industry understanding.
  • Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder leadership skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills

Desirable requirements

  • Practical and validated Lean and 6 SIGMA training
  • Experience of working within a global organization
  • Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry or in other manufacturing industries
