Job Description

- Construction project management across all project phases of a construction project (preliminary design, budgeting and scheduling, project supervision, inspections and acceptance of construction works)
- Coordination and management and supervision of project teams and (sub)contractors
- Responsibility for construction budget estimation
- Scheduling of designing, procurement, decisions, construction phases
- Responsibility for controlling of budget, qualities, schedules across all project phases
- Review of blue prints/lay-outs in consideration of life-cycle-costs and space efficiency
- Risks analysis during the whole process
- Compiling bidder lists, coordinate RfP in collaboration with purchasing department, and contract negotiations
- Overseeing of quality checks an final inspection
- Inspection and acceptance of contracted works
- Make sure that project documentation is compiled with facilities management needs
- Ensure compliance to TK guidelines, Health and Safety policies and any other regulations
Your responsibilities
- A proven track record of successfully managing industrial construction projects
- Knowledge of China land and property statutory and local authority disciplines
- Knowledge of China construction and planning statutory
- Sound site construction project budgeting, technical qualifications, time control expertise and on-site experiences.
- Good knowledge in tendering and contracting processes
- Advanced knowledge in contract management
- Several years of experience in construction and planning of new buildings and renovation projects, esp. office buildings, plants, factories and warehouses
- Certified Grade 1 Constructor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Communication and Management Skill:
- Fluent Chinese and English, German would be an advantage
- Business experience with European companies is a plus
- Confident manner, open and communicative personality
- Structured, methodical and analytical work approach
- Independence, initiative, flexibility and strong commitment
- Strong service focus and team skills
- Willingness to travel
- Has a range of interpersonal skills and approaches and knows when to use what with whom to accomplish work goals. Ability to manage a program and group of people to work onsite
