Area of Responsibility:
- Pro-actively identify, evaluate, implement and realize the potential investment opportunities via Joint Venture, M&A and strategic alliances to accelerate Maersk’s core products' ambitious growth in Asia.
Essential Job Tasks:
· Pro-actively interact with internal product team and external parties with a view to identify new investment opportunities available for Maersk. Those opportunities should support or develop Maersk core product’s ambitious growth.
· Develop project proposals for opportunities pertaining to either joint ventures (J/V), strategic partnerships or acquisitions (including deal structure design / financial modeling / valuation / business case development / investment proposal in accordance with APMM investment guidelines and templates). · Manage the commercial negotiation with potential partners / M&A targets according to the designed structure, and ensure Maersk’s interest is protected at all times
· Assist in finance due diligence, develop Joint Venture contracts & AoA for new Joint Ventures or Strategic Partnerships (i.e. framework for partnership), or Share purchase agreement (SPA) negotiation and execution · Successful implement new Joint Venture or Partnership in compliance with core assumptions and deal structure used in final approved investment proposal. Ensure that Maersk interest is protected at all times.
- Or SPA completion follow up and post-merger integration coordination with different business units.
- Communicate and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders/government/municipality officials/JV partners and external parties that have influence over our projects to ensure smooth project development and project delivery.
Objectives of the position:
- Identification of realistic opportunities for new J/Vs, partnerships or merger & acquisitions.
- Development of timely, reliable & accurate proposals.
- Negotiate the JV contracts and Share purchase agreement in accordance with APMM principles; secure most favorable terms.
- Implementation of J/V, strategic partnership or Integrate the M&A company.
- Follow up the J/V investments, or SPA completions

Experience:
? M&A or Investment experience
? Relevant theoretical business or finance education (bachelor degree or higher)
? Operational and commercial understanding of container related business (with particular emphasis on physical operations)
? Network / contacts within logistics industry
? Previous experience in similar role
Language:
? Excellent command of verbal and written English
