The Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is a unit of Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services. More than 200 major companies have utilized its corporate training services.

Major Duties:
(a) To take lead of the planning, development and marketing of new in-service training and product initiatives, examination and assessment services with a strong focus in the insurance, banking and financial services industries;
(b) To create and sustain strategic relationships with key corporate clients in Hong Kong, Macau and on the Mainland to identify and generate new business;
(c) To build and maintain a solid pipeline of in-service training business opportunities and provide regular forecasts / business reviews;
(d) To source and work with subject matter experts and leading advisory groups to develop content for face-to-face and digital delivery of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET);
(e) To assist in managing PEAK award-bearing programmes and to provide support for matters relating to the accreditation / re-accreditation of PEAK’s programmes;
(f) To achieve annual financial income targets and organisational Key Performance Indicators; and
(g) To perform teaching duties and supervise student projects where necessary.

Requirements:
(a) A recognised degree and relevant professional qualification(s) in insurance, preferably with a postgraduate qualification;
(b) At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the planning, development and marketing of training programmes;
(c) An in-depth understanding of the regulatory and professional development requirements for local insurance and banking professionals;
(d) Demonstrated success in service selling, business development and with an established business network in the insurance, banking and financial services industries;
(e) Good administrative, interpersonal, communication and team building skills; and
(f) Good presentation skills and a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.

Notes:
(1) The post is in the rank of Senior Lecturer.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test in English.
(3) The appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and multiple locations within and outside Hong Kong.
