Summary

Work together with sales to acquire order, responsible on technical solution proposal in terms of layout, scope of supply, supplier list and cost estimation. To be a technical bridge between engineering design team and customer after the order.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To analyze customer RFQ and identify specific needs together with global team if any;

• To translate RFQ from Chinese to English if any;

• To clarify with customer for all technical requests;

• To create technical offer including process based on customer requirement with global team together if any;

• To present independently technical proposal to the customer;

• To clarify the limit and risk assessment of the scope, in line with technical offer;

• To consult outside suppliers and assure quotation quality, for the material/service out of COMAU ability;

• Work with cost estimator to assure technical offer is competitive;

• To assure the consistency of the offers in term of active standards product development;

• To guarantee the technical offer competitiveness and quality in terms of COMAU policy;

• To support and review cost estimation in line with technical scope;

• To support sales activity for technical section;

• To promote standard product & solution to Chinese customer;

• To enhance the link with the customer;

Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)

• Bachelor degree, majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related;

• At least 7 years’ working experience on metal-cutting business field, background on powertrain metal-cutting industry or machine tool OEM is preferred;

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong general mechanical engineering or commissioning knowledge on machine configuration, machining process, fixtures, cutting tool, handling, automation system and part quality methodology;

• Machining process engineering independently on Tier1/2 Industry/Cylinder head/Cylinder block/Gearbox is required;

• Good skill with MS software, and basic skill with Autocad/Solidworks;

• Good technical English speaking is required;

• Rich knowledge with understanding parts drawings;

• Team leader management background is required;

• Knowledge with EHS is preferred;
