What part will you play? Identifying and selecting the automation test cases Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy and creating an automation test plan Automating the design of a framework Setting up a test environment Engage in continuous automated and manual testing activity throughout agile development iterations to ensure zero defects Participate in iteration planning, providing input on required testing tasks, process, and associated effort for the selected user stories Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality Be a key participant in creating a quality first and zero defects culture Be open & able to adapt new technology frequently & quickly and start producing results Mentor other team members and help them transform to an SDET Design and develop automation framework Focus on API and UI testing automation Focus on CI/CD for several environments Ensure quality of design and code through design reviews/code reviews and help in building TDD/BDD culture in the team Be updated on the latest testing techniques, strategies, testing tools/ test frameworks Design the required test strategy in line with the scope and organization standard Use your skills to move the world forward! Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or equivalent 6+ years of testing experience with minimum 3 years as SDET or automation Expert in Python or Java/Type Script programming language Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns Experience in working any end to end testing framework , preferably WebDriverIO and Cypress Experience in working any API testing framework , preferably Postman and Newman Experience in working in an Agile team with hands on with TDD, BDD Experience of building CI/CD pipelines Experience of working on AWS Cloud and DevOps (Terraform, Docker, ECS, etc.) would be beneficial Experience of building scalable automation frameworks Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to be able to solve complex problems and critical production issues Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.
