Position Description: • Support for product quality improvement activities and to reduce defect rate of products • Maintain the product quality level to meet global quality standards • Identify opportunities and work for improvement in product quality by working closely with cross functional team • You will be responsible for assuring that the manufacturing product quality level improvement to reduce Out of Box [OOB] % metrics. • Ensure XCSA [Extended Customer Simulation Audit] closure with 100% compliance. • Lead CFT team for identified continuous improvement projects to improve product [FPY] first pass yield, assembly Debug, and customer complaints. • Address field complaints working with the Field Quality engineering and ensure defect escaping to end customer. • Responsible for monthly reporting and presenting to HOD. • Driving closure of assigned CAPAs on timely manner based on 8D. • Quality oversight of the manufacturing operations (facilities, equipment, processes, and documentation) • Conducts Quality data analysis and provides input for Quality review meetings • Support for product quality improvement activities and focus on zero OOB % by interacting with Internal/Global team for resolution • Should ensure quality of the product in alignment to the product requirement • Should be able to develop test cases covering functionality, negative test scenarios, user behaviours, non-functional requirements - load test/performance test • Establish metrics, best practices, develop new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. #### Position Requirements: 1\. Chip level Knowledge on computers with basic Electronics component functions. 2\. Experienced in Problem solving Tools & Techniques like [Lean 6Sigma, DOE, 8D, QC Story, A3, etc.,] 3\. Analytical and problem-solving ability 6\. Planning and project execution skills. 7\. Trouble shooting skills in Electronics/Computer 8\. Having knowledge in Quality tools like TQM, (QFD & Quality Tools) and Lean Six sigma 9\.
