POSITION SUMMARY:

To report to Senior Manager, Commercial responsible for specialist package contracts and to assist in the commercial management, contractual advice and administration thereof.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Measurement, project cost control, evaluation of variations, assessment of interim payments to specialist package contractors/suppliers and final account negotiation. Interim Payment Applications
• Monthly Forecast Cost to completion
• Evaluation of change
• Contract Administration

Qualifications

Experience

• Approximately 8-10 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor with a general contractor, employer or professional quantity surveyor 

Education

• BSc in Building Engineering /Quantity Surveyor and/or MCIOB or RICS (member)

Skills / Competencies

• Excellent in Excel and Words application
